This is probably the most work I have put into a drawing, the date on it is when I finished the outline for him, I only finished the coloring today. Anyway, this IS inspired by Metal Gear Solid 4, I just could not pass up this pose in the ending, Big Boss giving one last salute to The Boss before he dies. The title is from his line before this pose... "At last...I understand the meaning behind what you did. At last...I understand the truth behind your courage."
Being a fan of Metal Gear this is my fairwell tribute to Big Boss.
