It's a Paw-caso painting

I don't see any problem areas in her inking. I originally wanted to say I didn't see a significant difference in the inking. I didn't know if that would be insulting because you're trying to improve and move forward or complimentary because you seems as adept at your new style as you were with your old. Either way I do mean it well.

Haha.. I get what you're saying Tef. And I appreciate it.
A good comparison is the dog in this image and the bowl beside here. The bowl was inked with a simple 03 micron. The dog was inked with my brush pen. I'm trying to achieve a greater sense of line depth and variation.

Then with a side by side comparison to go by I say you're well on your way to archiving that. The dog does stand out more than the bowl.

the form of the eyes is curious, but nice. a hint of cartoon doesn't hurt in my opinion.
nothing to critic here. the inking is nice and clean, the look of the doggie is nice, cute, playful and no-mischief (like, rrright!). and she does nice paintings, too. :)

I really wasn't trying to pass over into "realism" so I decided to give her eyes more character. Didn't want to merge into that "pet portrait" area. XD

hehe, your decision. :) that eye design adds greatly in terms of expression in an otherwise real-looking doggie face. works well I say. :)
