In IDW's TMNT, the Utrom Ma'riell discusses her brother Ch'rell's loyalty to Krang as zealous, and that he would be so enraged by the news of Krang's imprisonment on Neutrino that she agreed it was best to leave him in stasis until she had discussed it with the other Utroms.

So in my mind, Ch'rell has an intimate attraction to Krang on the side of his loyalty.
