Just a quick-ish sketch for comparison between my older muzzle style and one I've been using in my sketches more recently. The older-style is shaped more closely to the circle, while the newer-style has more definition on its own. I started doing this after referencing some photos.
Some notes-
- Even young children/babies have a defined jawline, although it's typically a lot rounder/chubbier than older kids/teens and adults, especially in infants and young toddlers.
- Fluff should be drawn around the face, not the other way around. It's better to define the cheeks first then add fluff afterwards rather than trying to define the cheeks from fluff.
So yeah, not a lot to say. Feedback is welcome if anyone has any~
