Adult sized Rocking Horse

I finished this solid oak rocking horse in three days. The seat is suede, the style is a hybrid of two different designs I have templates for. So I guess to a certain extent, this is an "original". With the rockers almost 5 feet long, and standing 50 inches tall, it's a lot bigger than it looks.

I saw this on LJ also ^.^ I am jellous of the comissioner for the horse. It's superior craftsmanship right there.

It was stained a custom color and is currently in the customer's lair.

BTW I would never paint oak.
