AT #008 - LEGO Dimensions Characters (2.0) - Part 2
< PART 1
Name: Harry Horse
Now out of all the characters I included in this list, you're probably wondering why I included this guy into the list. If you think it's anything furry related, you are wrong. It all started when I was trying to find the perfect substitute for Homer's Taunt-o-Vision's Taunt Ability. When I first looked for something, I tried to find something TV related. The only things I could find that were close enough was 278 TV Room and 6661 Mobile TV Studio.
But when I saw a motion gif of the Taunt-o-Vision in action, I figured that maybe it doesn't have to be a TV that could taunt them. Because the Taunt ability is distracting the mice towards the Taunt-o-Vision so that Homer can try Chief Wiggum's chili.
When it comes to most people (mainly kids), what's the one thing that distracts them so much that they would stop what they're doing just to go outside to the distraction? The sounds of an ice cream truck!
So when I looked up “Ice Cream”, I found 70804 Ice Cream Machine with Ice Cream Mike and 3665 Ice Cream Shoppe with this guy (Harry Horse).
The Ice Cream Machine was tempting, and I bet if the creators decided to go for an Ice Cream Vehicle with a Taunt Ability, they'd pick Ice Cream Mike over Harry Horse. But after remembering Fabu-Fan and due to my interest in things that are different, I decided to pick Harry Horse and his Ice Cream Cart. As I said though, the creators of this game will most likely be more interested in Mike, but I like Harry Horse more because he ain't human. Besides, Fabuland is one of the longest running LEGO franchises, so they were obviously doing something right when they made this franchise.
Theme: Fabuland
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Clara's Milkshake
-Umbrella (In game, only appears when using Glide ability)
Abilities:
-Glide
Since one if his equipment is an Umbrella, I feel he should be able to use that umbrella to glide. Kinda like with The Penguin from the LEGO Batman video games.
-Target
I feel Harry should be similar to Ice Cream Mike in The LEGO Movie Videogame (where he uses the Target ability to throw Ice Cream that can put out fires). Except instead of ice cream, he should use Clara's Milkshakes.
Vehicle: Ice Cream Cart
Vehicle Abilities:
-Accelerator Switches
Considering it's a land vehicle on wheels, I feel it should have this ability.
-Taunt
Since it's an Ice Cream Cart and most people (mainly kids) rush over to the sounds of an ice cream truck, the Ice Cream Cart MUST have this ability. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Homer's Taunt-o-Vision.
Name: Ice Cream Mike
This suggestion is incase the creators of this game cannot include Harry Horse for some reason. Which is kinda understandable because Fabuland was mean't for a much younger audience anyway. Whichever they decide, I hope they will give their vehicles the Taunt Ability.
Theme: The LEGO Movie
Weapons/Items:
-Ice Cream
Abilities:
-Master Build
He doesn't have this ability in The LEGO Movie Videogame. HOWEVER, I predict that the events of The LEGO Movie dimension are taking place after The LEGO Movie since Vitruvius wasn't on Cloud Cuckoo Land in the intro and Emmet is a Master Builder in the game. Since most of the residents of Bricksburg became Master Builders after hearing Wyldstyle's speech on TV, I feel Ice Cream Mike should have this ability since he too became a Master Builder. If not, how did he & his partner turn their Ice Cream Truck into a flying vehicle that shoots missiles?
-Target
In The LEGO Movie Videogame, he had this ability. So I figured it's only fitting that he'd have this ability in this game. It is also stated that his ice cream can put out fires.
Vehicle: Ice Cream Truck
Vehicle Abilities:
-Accelerator Switches
Since the Ice Cream Truck is... Well... ...a truck and has wheels, it should be able to use Accelerator Switches.
-Sonar Smash
Since the Ice Cream Truck is equipped with speakers, I feel it should have the Sonar Smash ability.
-Taunt
As mentioned in Harry Horse's bio, the sounds of an ice cream truck can distract most people (mainly kids). Since the Ice Cream Truck IS an ice cream truck, it should have this ability. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Homer's Taunt-o-Vision.
Name: Johnny Thunder
Theme: Adventurers
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Machete
-Pistol
(In Game)
-Binoculars (When Using Relic Detector Ability)
-Magnifying Glass (When Using Tracking Ability)
Abilities:
-Relic Detector
Johnny is a passionate archaeologist. As such, I'm sure he's good at finding things other people can't spot immediately with the untrained eye. Not to mention that according to Jan-Feb 1998 & Nov-Dec 1998's Mania Magazines, Johnny's been good at finding lost treasures ever since he was a kid. If that doesn't convince anyone that he should have the Relic Detector ability, I don't know what will.
-Target
Because he's equipped with a gun. And I'm sure he's a crack shot with it too.
-Tracking
As I said before, Johnny is a passionate archaeologist. He should have the ability to track trails, because archaeologists are good at following trails. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Owen Grady, Shaggy, or Scooby-Doo.
-Vine Cut
Since he's equipped with a machete and has the knowhow to use it, he should have the Vine Cut ability. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Owen Grady.
Vehicle: Thunder Blazer
Vehicle Abilities:
-Flight
As an airplane, it should be able to fly.
-Flight Dock
As a flying vehicle, I'm sure it is capable of doing this.
-Projectiles
There might be a different name for this ability, but since the plane is equipped with guns on the top, it should be able to use them.
Name: Lavertus
This suggestion is incase the creators can't use Johnny Thunder or Rocky for some reason &/or give one of those two the Vine Cut Ability. If they can't give either of them that ability, they can certainly give Lavertus that ability because of his experience in the Outlands of Chima.
Theme: Legends of Chima
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Black Valious Sword
(In Game)
-Golden Chi (When Building, Using Fix-It Ability, & Using Master Build Ability)
Since Lavertus uses Golden Chi a lot and has a huge access of Golden Chi, I feel he should use it to build & repair just as fast as The Doctor can repair.
-2 MaCHIguns (When Using Target Ability)
Abilities:
-Acrobatics
In the video game “Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey”, all Lion Tribe characters were able to access Lion Pads. Lion Pads are just like Acrobatics Pads in LEGO Dimensions. And since Laval is able to use Acrobatics Pads, Lavertus should have this ability too.
-Chi
Because all Legends of Chima characters can perform this ability.
-Fix-It
-High Jump
Because every character with Acrobatics has this ability.
-Master Build
-Super Strength (When Using Chi Ability)
Because when a character powers up with Chi, they have this ability until their meter runs out.
-Target
-Vine Cut
Vehicle: Twin Blade
Vehicle Abilities:
-Cargo Hook
-Flight
-Flight Dock
Name: Lobster Guardian
Theme: Atlantis
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Trident
Abilities:
-Atlantis Elemental
Considering they're from Atlantis and are able to work together with the other Warriors/Guardians, they might be able to communicate with sea creatures. If that's so, then the Lobster Guardian should have this ability. Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities they might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give it this ability. If they do give it this ability, then players wouldn't have to rely on Aquaman.
-Mini Access
Considering they are shorter than the average minifig, it should have the Mini Access ability. That way if they do give it this ability along with Underwater Swimming, players wouldn't have to rely on Gollum or Slimer.
-Sonar Smash
I don't know for sure, but from looking at the design of the Lobster Guardian's mouth, I predict that it can shriek loud enough to shatter glass. Kinda like the mermaids in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean the Video Game.
Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities they might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give it this ability. If they do give it this ability along with Underwater Swimming, then players wouldn't have to rely on Slimer.
-Underwater Swimming
Considering these creatures originated from Atlantis, they must have the ability to swim underwater.
Vehicle: Crustacean Monster
Vehicle Abilities:
-Super Strength
Considering it's an overgrown crustacean and has arms, I feel it's strong enough to break through Cracked LEGO Walls.
-Underwater Swimming
Since this creature originated from Atlantis, it must have the ability to swim underwater.
Name: Naida Riverheart
Originally, this suggestion was gonna be Nya as the Water Ninja. But since she's already playable as Samurai X, I figured the creators can't include “Ninja Nya”. Eventually however, I discovered this character (Naida) from LEGO Elves. The reason I would like her to be playable is because her element is water and she can use that power to shoot water from her hands.
Well, technically she can only manipulate water around her. But if the creators of this game were too worried about accuracy, they probably wouldn't have given Gollum or Scooby-Doo Underwater Swimming (since they probably have to breathe) nor would they give Wonder Woman the Mind Control ability (since it's coming from her Golden Lasso of Truth and I doubt it can phase through walls or extend to infinity. Also, it's suppose to make it's victims tell the truth, not bend the victim to Wonder Woman's will.)...
Anyway, the only LEGO original thing that has water in the game is Unikitty's X-treme Soaker, but it only sprays downwards and can't fit in small areas...
So I need a character that can shoot water like Aquaman & Krusty the Clown.
Theme: Elves
Weapons/Items:
(On Figure)
-Water Magic
Abilities:
-“Atlantis Elemental”
Now obviously she isn't Atlantean like Aquaman. HOWEVER, as a Water Elf, she is able to communicate with aquatic creatures just like Aquaman. As such, I feel Naida should have this ability. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Aquaman.
-Growth
Because all characters with the Water Spray ability have this ability.
-Hazard Cleaner
Because all characters with the Water Spray ability have this ability. Plus, she used her powers before to clean her boat in the webisode ''Crib Notes''.
-“Magical Shield”
In part 1 of the Elves webisode ''Dragons to Save, Time to be Brave'', she uses her powers to put a water shield around Emily so that she can get closer to the fire dragon and remove the mind control harness. Naida can probably use this ability on herself, and if she can, she should have this ability.
-Underwater Swimming
Considering she is a Water Elf and lives on a boat (the Epic Adventure Ship), I'm sure she knows how to swim underwater. And with her water manipulation powers, I'm sure she can develop a way to breathe underwater. And if she can't breathe underwater, it's like I said before, I don't think the creators are too worried about accuracy...
-Water Spray
As explained before, she can only manipulate water around her in the webisodes. However, I don't think the creators are too concerned about accuracy. As such, I feel she should have the ability to spray water from her hands. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Aquaman or Krusty the Clown.
Vehicle: Epic Adventure Ship
Vehicle Abilities:
As it is, there's not much this boat can do except float on water. So I don't know what other abilities it should have besides that...
Name: Rocky the Reef Wrecker
Theme: Aquaraiders
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-2 Knives
(In Game)
-Flippers (When using Underwater Swimming Ability)
Abilities:
-Illumination
I could be wrong, but on the visor above the face, it looks like his helmet has a built-in light. Considering how deep they are underwater, I can understand why they would have a light on their helmets (if that's what it is). And if it is a light, then I feel he should have this ability.
-Underwater Swimming
All characters in the Aquazone theme is a diver. In fact, in Jul-Aug 1997's Mania Magazine, there are pages where he is seen swimming underwater. So he should have this ability.
-Vine Cut
Rocky has 2 knives attached to his back. And since these knives look like the one Owen Grady is wielding, I feel he should be able to use them to cut vines. And for all we know, the creators might make underwater vine areas one of these days.
Vehicle: Aqua Dozer
Vehicle Abilities:
-Dig
This vehicle is basically an aquatic loader. In fact, in May-Jun 1997's Mania Magazine, it uses it's scooper to dig up dirt. So it should have this ability, especially since Scooby-Doo is the only thing that can dig underwater...
-Underwater Swimming
All vehicles in the Aquazone theme are deep sea vessels. As such, the Aqua Dozer should have the ability to go underwater.
Name: Scorm
This suggestion is incase the creators can't use AntiMatter &/or can't give him the Mind Control ability for some reason. Scorm & the Scorpion Tribe are able to use Mind Control by stinging their victims with their tails, so he will definitely need this ability if they include him.
Theme: Legends of Chima
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Korrodor
His toy has him wielding two of these, but in the show, I always see him wielding one.
Abilities:
-Chi
Because all Legends of Chima characters can perform this ability.
-Mind Control
In the show, when a Scorpion stings a creature, they become mind controlled by said Scorpion. As such, I feel Scorm should have this ability.
-Super Strength (When Using Chi Ability)
Because when a character powers up with Chi, they have this ability until their meter runs out.
-Target
Vehicle: Scorpion Stinger
Vehicle Abilities:
-Accelerator Switches
Considering it's a land vehicle on wheels, I feel it should have this ability.
-Silver LEGO Blowup
-Super Strength
Name: Sibress
The reason she's in this list is because I wanted to find a character that can substitute for Superman's Freeze Breath Ability. There are a few LEGO original vehicles that have the ability to freeze enemies, but I would like a LEGO original character to have that ability. I'm kind of amazed Zane doesn't have this ability in the game, he's the ice ninja and has frozen enemies before.
The reason I chose Sibress instead of a well known Hunter (like Sir Fangar, Mungus, Vardy, or someone else) is because she's one of the few Hunters who hasn't appeared in the TV show. And if what one of the Chima wikias says about her having a crush on Cragger is true, then this could work because she probably wouldn't want to hurt Cragger or his friends. Whatever the case, including her into this game could give Chima fans an opportunity to get to know her better. The only thing most fans know is that she's in the 70224 Tiger's Mobile Command set and she's related to Sir Fangar (she's most likely his daughter considering he tried to marry Li'Ella in the show), but that's it...
If they make Sibress playable, then they should also include Vultrix. Because most fan theories suggests that Sibress & Vultrix are best friends. So maybe they should put the both of them in a Team Pack.
Theme: Legends of Chima
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Kold Blasta
Abilities:
(TBD)
Vehicle: Abominator Ice Catapult
Vehicle Abilities:
(TBD)
Name: Space Police Commando
Theme: Space Police III
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Jetpack
-Space Police Blaster
(In Game)
-Crime Scene Scanner (When Using Tracking Ability)
-Memory Wiper (When Using Stun Ability)
Abilities:
-Flight
As you can no doubt tell on the covers of 5982 Smash 'n' Grab and 5984 Lunar Limo, the Space Police Commandos are equipped with a jetpack. As such, he should have the ability to fly.
-Hacking
Since Space Police is a science fiction LEGO theme, the Space Police might have the knowhow to be able to hack. As such, he should probably have this ability.
-Laser
As you can see in the covers of 5982 Smash 'n' Grab, 5984 Lunar Limo, and 5985 Space Police Central, the weapon the Space Police Commandos are equipped with is a laser. As such, I feel he should have this ability. That way (if he's also given the Flight ability), players wouldn't have to rely on Superman.
-Relic Detection
In LEGO Battles in one of the cutscenes, a Space Police Officer is using some sort of scanner to scan the Black Hole Gang wreckage. I assume that the device can be used to track trails & find clues to help them find the criminals they're looking for. So perhaps he should have the Tracking Ability. Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities he might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give him this ability.
-Stun
This ability isn't listed in the LEGO Dimensions wikia, however some characters are able to stun enemies. With Laval, he can stun enemies by using his roar. In LEGO Battles in one of the cutscenes, a Space Police Officer is using something similar to an MIB Neuralyzer which temporarily stunned the astronaut. It didn't affect the robot however, so he had to manually wipe the robot's memory. Anyway, I feel this character should have the same device and be able to use it to stun organic characters.
-Technology
Since Space Police is a science fiction LEGO theme, the Space Police might have the knowhow to be able to use Technological Panels. As such, he should probably have this ability.
-Tracking
In LEGO Battles in one of the cutscenes, a Space Police Officer is using some sort of scanner to scan the Black Hole Gang wreckage. I assume that the device can be used to track trails & find clues to help them find the criminals they're looking for. So perhaps he should have the Tracking Ability. Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities he might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give him this ability. If they do give him this ability, then players wouldn't have to rely on Owen Grady, Shaggy, or Scooby-Doo.
Vehicle: VX-Falcon
Vehicle Abilities:
-Flight
As you can see on the cover of 5973 Hyperspeed Pursuit and in one of the cutscenes of LEGO Battles, the VX-Falcon is capable of flying. As such, it should have this ability.
-Silver LEGO Blowup
As you can see on the cover of 5973 Hyperspeed Pursuit, the VX-Falcon is LOADED with laser cannons. And I feel these lasers are strong enough for the Silver LEGO Blowup ability.
Name: Super Station Master
Theme: Loco
Weapons/Items:
(In Game)
-Station Master Outfit (When Using Stealth Ability)
Abilities:
-Flight
He is seen using this ability in the games he's in and in the only set he appeared in as the Super Station Master. Since Superman & Wonder Woman have their themes playing when they fly, I think it would be funny if the LEGO Loco intro theme played when Super Station Master flies.
-Invulnerability
Since the Super Station Master is basically a LEGO Trains spoof of Superman, I feel he has the common “Superman abilities”. Like flight, super strength, invulnerability, and can breathe in space & underwater. So I feel he should have this ability. Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities he might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give him this ability. If they do give him this ability, then players wouldn't have to rely on Gamer Kid, Superman, or Wonder Woman.
-Stealth
In the intro of LEGO Loco, the Super Station Master turns into his super hero attire by spinning around really fast. I'm sure he can also use the same method to turn back into his secret identity. As such, I feel he should have the stealth ability by changing into his secret identity when he uses it. Kinda like how Shaggy & Scooby-Doo use this ability.
-Super Strength
I feel he should have this ability not only because he's basically a LEGO Trains spoof of Superman, but also because in the intro of LEGO Loco, he pulled a railroad switch to save the civilians who were trying to avoid getting run over by the Cargo Railway Train. In reality, it takes lots of strength & time to pull those kind of switches normally. But the Super Station Master just flew by & pulled it as quickly as someone can flick a light switch! So he MUST have Super Strength.
-Underwater Swimming
Since the Super Station Master is basically a LEGO Trains spoof of Superman, I feel he has the common “Superman abilities”. Like flight, super strength, invulnerability, and can breathe in space & underwater. So I feel he should have this ability. Though since this is basically a guess on what abilities he might have, it's up to the creators to decide wether or not they want to give him this ability.
Vehicle: Cargo Railway Train
The reason I feel the Super Station Master should have this as his vehicle is because this was the main train featured on the cover and the intro of LEGO Loco.
Vehicle Abilities:
-Accelerator Switches
Since the Cargo Railway Train is a land vehicle on wheels, it should be able to use Accelerator Switches.
Name: Terabyte
Theme: Ultra Agents
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Scrambler Pistol
Abilities:
-Hacking
One of Terabyte's traits is that he is capable of hacking. He's even been able to hack Astor City's computer systems AND the Ultra Agents' Mission HQ! So he MUST have this ability.
-Robotic Stun
This ability isn't listed in the LEGO Dimensions wikia. However considering what Terabyte's Scrambler Pistol is capable of, I feel that when it hits robotic targets, the robots should be stunned.
-Target
Because he's armed with his Scrambler Pistol and I'm sure it can do more than just screw up electronic devices. Especially since it shoots high-frequency gamma rays.
-Technology
According to his bio on the Ultra Agents website, Terabyte is a tech-savvy rascal. So I'm sure he's able to use technological panels. Especially since he's capable of hacking.
Vehicle: Terabyte's Mech
Vehicle Abilities:
-Drone
If the drone has to be robotic &/or technological, then Terabyte has ya covered. Because in the 70165 Ultra Agents Mission HQ set, Terabyte's Mech has a drone. As such, it should be able to use this as it's drone. If the mech can't do it, Terabyte should definitely have this ability. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Doc Brown or Cyberman.
Now obviously, if the drone was the same size as the original, I'm sure it wouldn't be small enough to be able to access drone access tubes. However, since all playable vehicles are minikit sized, the drone should be small enough to fit. And if the creators are worried about accuracy, then Doc Brown's drone wouldn't be a miniaturized RC car of his DeLorean time machine, because he never had one...
-Flight
As you can see in LEGO Ultra Agents: The AntiMatter Missions, Terabyte's Mech is able to fly using the drone on it's back as a jetpack. So it should have the Flight ability.
-Silver LEGO Blowup
This mech can also shoot projectiles. And I'm sure these projectiles are powerful enough to destroy Silver LEGO objects. As such, it should have this ability.
-Super Strength
Most mechs in the game have this ability. Plus with it's huge claw, I'm sure it's strong enough to smash through Cracked LEGO Walls.
-Target
Since Terabyte's Mech is armed with a cannon, I'm sure it has aiming capabilities.
Name: Tim
Theme: Time Cruisers
Weapons/Items:
(In Game)
-Ingo (When Using Drone Ability)
Abilities:
-Drone
The Time Cruisers have a monkey named Ingo. As such, I feel Ingo should be Tim's “drone”. Unless the drone can't be something alive... I just feel this would work because this is what some of the characters in the LEGO Harry Potter games used their pets for when they have to deal with Pipe Mazes.
If it can work, then players wouldn't have to rely on Doc Brown or Cyberman if they give Tim this ability.
-“TARDIS Access”
Since Tim is a Time Cruiser and works with Dr. Cyber, he should have the ability to access the Time Lab Shed's functions. Because I'm sure Dr. Cyber taught him how to use his inventions.
Vehicle: Rocket Racer
Vehicle Abilities:
-Accelerator Switches
Since the Rocket Racer is a land vehicle on wheels, it should be able to use Accelerator Switches.
-Time Travel
From what I see in it's details in Jul-Aug 1995's Mania Magazine, I have a strong feeling that the Rocket Racer is a LEGO spoof of Back to the Future's DeLorean Time Machine. Mainly because both vehicles have three things in common. They're both land vehicles, they both look nuclear-powered, and they both travel through time. As such, this vehicle should have the ability to use Time Travel Ramps. That way, players wouldn't have to rely on Marty's DeLorean Time Machine &/or Doc Brown's Traveling Time Train.
Name: Troll Captain
Theme: Castle (2007)
Weapons/Items:
(Both On Figure & In Game)
-Scimitar
(In Game)
-Crossbow (When Using Target Ability)
Abilities:
-Super Strength
The reason I feel the Troll Captain should have this ability is because in the LEGO movie ''The Adventures of Clutch Powers'', a Troll Warrior was strong enough to run through a brick wall! So the trolls of Castle (2007) are obviously pretty strong.
-Target
Well, he is equipped with a Crossbow. So why not?
Vehicle: Troll Battle Wheel
Vehicle Abilities:
-Gyrosphere Switch
From the design of the Battle Wheel, I feel this vehicle should be able to use Gyrosphere Switches. Because if you look at both of them and think, they have similarities in design. Only difference is that the Gyrosphere is a ball while the Battle Wheel is 2 big wheels with a cannon. Now I'm sure if it were the same size as it's set, that wouldn't be the case because it would be too big. But all the playable vehicles in LEGO Dimensions are minikit sized. So the Troll Battle Wheel should be able to use Gyrosphere Switches.
-Silver LEGO Blowup
And that's basically it. If ALL these characters were playable AND had the abilities I strongly feel they should have, then players wouldn't have to rely on ANY third party characters.
Some may feel that the fact that the third party outnumbers LEGO isn't too big of a deal, but think of it this way. Let's say Nintendo decided to do a new Super Smash Bros game where Mario, Link, Kirby, & Pikachu are the ONLY playable Nintendo characters while 100 other playable characters are from companies not owned by Nintendo! Do you see where I'm going with this?
I feel they should have had more LEGO original characters/franchises and less third party characters/franchises. And if any of you viewers are the LEGO fans I hope you are, you do too.
Anyway, that is all. Thank you all so much for reading. Be sure to comment, fave, & watch to see new stuff and be sure to look over my gallery for more work that I've done.
This is Andrew saying good day. ^_^
And incase LEGO can't include certain LEGO original characters/franchises for some reason, here are some LEGO original honorable mentions that I will put in my scraps. Starting with LEGO original themes that are already involved in the game.
HONORABLE MENTIONS 2.0 (Coming Soon)
