'Asha' is just an abreviated name for 'Ashless'. Sort of like 'Sam' is for 'Samantha' etc.
Her name 'Ashless' nods a little toward what her cutie mark means - somewhat a disguised flame. Her 'special thing' is setting fire to things without folk noticing or leaving a trace that it was her. ^.^ In other words, her special tallent is arson.
