The last time I was in oral pain, I snagged some novacain from my doctor. When reliefe from that is temporary something is wrong.
Turned out the jackwagon "dentist" in the army hadn't sealed the bone of my jaw after removing my wisdom teeth. Luckily, since it was causing me harm and documented by the military, Uncle Sam had to foot that bil (I chose the most expensive and skilled dentist I could find)
Are you gonna be okay? Or not somethin ya wanna talk about?

I'd known the doc for close to ten years. So when I told him, I'm hurting. He handed me a small tube of it. Said "a drop on the finger" and WASH your hand asap and be warned, it'll numb my tongue. Also told me not to drink.

Here's a treatment my grandmother swore by, and I have to admit it works:
1. Get some confectioner's (powdered) sugar.
2. Collect a small lump of it on a fingertip.
3. Press the lump directly against the canker. Pack it on hard.
4. The sugar will coat the sore and make it go away.
