Seems to have been some really fattening sushi or some other food if it was able to fatten him up while eating a small amount like that or perhaps there was a whole lot more that was off screen.

I am unsure whether or not you will see this but just in case perhaps it would be helpful to ask for advice. Specifically any advice for drawing fat characters in the sense of weight gain such as having them shown at a certain weight and shown as another specific weight and how much fat should generally appear or look upon the body?

Or perhaps some advice on how to draw more large and somewhat blobby bodies as shown as the right example.
