For Artist-Nexus June challenge 'Swapping'.
I had artist block with this idea... because all the ideas I got were already used by someone else (and not a common someone else, but great artists!).
Like... Gender swap? Taken!
Personality swap? Taken!
Species swap? Ultrataken!!!
So I was going to give up and take an idea I already saw... then I had this idea!
Cosplay! I had fun imagining the turtles cosplaying one of the brothers. There are different kinds of cosplayers (trust this comiccons and cosplaying maniac!):
1) The totally out of character cosplayer (like Mikey while he cosplays Donatello) like he has to smile? He is serious! Has to stay silent? He screams!
2) The cosplay nerd (like Donnie while he cosplays Raphael): he is totally in the character, so much it freaks you out, thinking he is possessed!
3) The superficial cosplayer (like Raphael cosplaying Leonardo): he totally forgets about the deep sides of the character and turns it in a caricature.
4) The white flag (like Leo cosplaying Mikey): he is not even trying, like seeing a sunny character (like Roofy from One Piece) carried by someone who wouldn't smile not even if you pay him. Different from the type 1, who isn't good with interpretation, here we don't see interpretation at all.

And now you can call me a nerd because I valuate these kind of things when I go to a comiccon. XDDD
