This is Donnington castle just on the outskirts of Newbury :) much more of this castle remains but alas the English Heritage site which looks after the castle and grounds have closed the doors to it .. so i only have exterior shots only :(

Doesn't look like much of it is left. Looks like it saw action in the Civil War too judging by those pock marks.

trust me hun, its more intact than most castles we have around my area, and yep there was a bit of damage to the walls i noticed hehe :) history is great!
