(Early Life)

Elena grew up the daughter of young magicians – Alfredo and Danielle – Known as La Gran Fortuna (The Great Fortune). They took the world by storm with their feats of magic tricks and toured the Frasco Islands, within the Isuka Region. However this act was much about Danielle’s beauty than Alfredo’s deft touch. Elena suffered neglect from her mother, who was intensely disappointed by her withdrawn, clumsy daughter. When Danielle mysteriously disappeared, Elena had grown into a beautiful young Cinccino, maybe even more beautiful than her departed mother.

A recent widower, Alfredo started to drink and gamble compulsively. He took his young daughter on tour throughout Frasco as his new assistant. He became known as a superlative illusionist because of his seemingly supernatural skills as a knife-thrower, which allowed him to hit every-single target and harmlessly miss his daughter completely. Touted as the best illusionist that ever lived, Alfredo stumped the experts. Some even said he was a mystic and that his tricks were really miracles. Alfredo himself started to believe that his tricks were real.

Unfortunately, however, Elena and her father Alfredo got into an argument one day, and became so angry with another that things grew tense. Needing the money to pay rent though, meant that Alfredo and Elena had to once again go on stage as of routine. The magic act, as usual, was magnificent and things were going well, until the very last act, Alfredo’s Knife-Throwing. Still angry at another, Alfredo flung his knife without hesitation, as usual, only for the knife to bounce off once it neared his daughter and assistant, and tragically struck Alfredo dead.

Seeing everything the crowd initially reacted in stunned silence and horror, before calling the weeping Elena a Bruja (Witch) and that she had used Brujaria (Witchcraft), which she used to ‘curse’ and ‘hex’ her very own father that resulted in his death. In a panic, the crowd formed a lynch mob and attacked Elena as she held her dead father, only to discover their panicked assault was all for naught; their weapons and torches harmlessly ‘swam’ past her, while their firearms either jammed or malfunctioned and their bullets deflected and missed.

Fleeing the scene Elena fled and travelled throughout the Frasco Islands. Her life became nothing more than self-survival now and that on the run, being unable to prove her innocence. Grief-stricken and filled with self-loathing Elena would more than often change her appearance or hide in the households of empty buildings (their inhabitants murdered indirectly by her power), living in them until she was discovered and once again pursued by the angry lynch mobs whom had declared her as Apollyon’s ‘Malvada Bruja’ (Wicked Witch).

Eventually the mob caught up to her with a cunning idea in mind. Discovering Elena was working undercover as a Fortune Teller, the mob sent a handsome young Minccino by the name of Remy Lacroix in the attempts of charming Elena with promises, such as protecting her and reuniting her with her missing mother Danielle. Due to the bribes and threats they held against himself for who he was making him feel he had no choice. Quite foolishly, Elena bought it and became smitten with the Remy, which grew into full-blown love and adoration because of their fake kindness. With the promise of leaving the Isuka Region behind, over the course of two weeks their relationship would grow and even consider marriage with Remy.

The night came that Elena would meet her lover on the time to elope. During a tender embrace the Remy frowned struggling inside for a few moments clutching the knife in concealed knowing what he must do, but despite this he never committed the ordered act during the embrace he received from Elena and instead, took her by the paw and fled having made his choice to help her instead thus branding himself a traitor among those who ordered him to kill Elena. Through a combination of her power and his own, the duo managed to escape and start a new life together.

(A New Beginning)

Throughout the years, Elena developed her relationship with Remy slowly who was closed off and hesitant to get too close to her as a lover due to his guilt over what he almost did and had yet to tell her what he was going to do to her and during this time was hard for her to get to open up despite showing signs of caring for her though she obliviously thought it was love when it was really a sense of protection and care. Something which would continue for several years due to his build up secrecy and not being sure how to letting her know the truth about that day.

Elena would later adopt two children, a Plusle and Minun by the names of Nell Lowell and Yuri Lowell respectively from a local orphanage and the two seemed well linked and co-opertive with one another even to the point of saying one half of sentence each as though they'd know what each other would say. Elena took to being a mother figure well and raised them while trying to discover why they were mysteriously linked in such a way. And continued up until she sent them to school as Remy despite his recluse nature began to feel more opened slowly to Elena and the twins as he'd begin to feel he really did have feeling for her with her soft and caring nature.

With this the two were wed and became a couple while looking after the adopted twins who had began to show excel at Sterzare Fiume High School where Elena and Remy now had a child of their own as the third kid in the form of the young female Minccino Lauryn LaRoche. Despite seeming normal, she actually had a powerful and unique gift where her imagination could literally create form with what she thought up, usually in the forms of imaginary friends of many shapes and sizes which turned iout to be a task to raise. Though Remy specifically seeing his daughter's powers lead him to teach and help her as a student to control it while Elena herself now mothered the three kids.

With this the family had reached it's biggest point as Elena, Remy, Nell, Yuri and Lauryn lived together while treating the children and raising them with care to become better and learned to control Lauryn's mindset and power respectively as Elena herself was mastering her own power control with Remy's help and feeling a great sense of relief in this as she could finally put her past behind her. Now able to walk among crowds without any sort of fear or concern as she could manipulate her luck at will and control it to affect certain things or her choosing.

One day, Elena stumbled upon a bank robbery noting the group of Pokemon having shot down some victims for merely taking too long to move out of the way, at first panicking, she used her powers in secrecy to cause the robbers misfortune after misfortune delaying their progress until they were knocked out unconscious or even put in near death states by freak accidents she caused secretly having saved the day. After this she decided to use her powers to become a superhero feeling that she could benefit others and dubbing herself lady luck wearing her old magician outfit complete with a mask for her costume.

Elena would prove one of the most effect of it's type as she never once suffered an injury in her two years of superhero work though having less action and usages compared to other superheroes who did four to five times the amount of crime fighting work that she herself did as hers was occasional and only when she found crimes she decided needed her intervention. Despite her lower tract record, her flawless performances made her almost as well known as some of the secondary big name superheroes while Lauryn, Nell and Yuri each looked up to her for this and Remy provided aid whenever needed.

This would lead to her to being put into the Hero-Killer event along with the world's more well known Vigilantes and Superheroes hosted by El Calavera who would attempt to wipe out all justice brings from the small time novices like Kick-Ass up to the famous ones like Anansi and Murcielago. Despite this and the slew of villains within all the Rogue Galleries hunting them on the isolated island, with Elena's aid of her power preventing collars from exploding and killing the justice brings, they would prevail and defeat the villain infested event. With this Elena now took up a job as a teacher at Sterzare's High School as a job career having long since quit her performance career and secretly played the role of the superheroine Lady Luck on the side...
