Wow, very nice! This turned out quite smooth, for being done with watercolor pencils. I've tried a number of different brands, even the more expensive ones, and achieving very smooth results just seems difficult no matter how I lay down the color, or how I put the water over it. I just got fed up with them and went back to regular watercolors. *laughs*
Obviously, you know how to tame the medium. :)

I honestly can't explain how.. I get them to work? I've always loved watercolors but these pencils (Derwent brand) just work for me, I love using them and it makes me do real media more often because I've been slacking pretty bad in that area. I always make a mess with regular watercolors XD I used to have some of the ones that came in the tube and you mix with water to your desired brightness, but I threw them out when we moved unfortunately.
