The Sepia Tyranus is a mutation of the Tyranosaurus Rex, wherein the Dinosaur develops a strange pair of tentacles off of its shoulders. While not exactly similar, these tentacles seem to act in similar regard to Octopus tentacles, as a sensory limb as well as for snaring prey.
Scientists theorize that the tentacles are a result of radiation-based mutation caused by a cataclysmic meteor just barely missed the planet in the cretaceous period, bathing the world with extraterrestrial energies and mutating various forms of life.
The tentacles allow the Tyranus to ensnare prey that it is hunting, bringing it up to the mouth and devouring it whole after shredding with its razor-sharp teeth.
upon reaching adulthood, the tentacles adapt another interesting trait: the dinosaur acquires the ability to project psionic fields, either as a form of communication or as a snare-trap for unwitting prey.
