electricfox777 introduced me to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F9.....bnb9IA7t1lch6A which my brother has taken as the inspiration for a city in his Pathfinder game. The city of Sterling bears the name of the man who saved it from an avalanche of boulders. While he perished in his moment of glory he is remembered by this statue in the town square.
