This was a very last minute piece I did at Califur this year (I wasn't even planning on drawing at con this year, or at least anything new). And part of that reason was because I was too busy with con work and running around to actually sit down and doodle anything. Hell even when I had a little bit of free time, I couldn't think of what to draw.

But anyway, one of the cutest people I met had recently gotten the cutest fullsuit I had ever seen. And when talking to her on her down time, she expressed interest in getting a badge done, but was worried because she didn't have a reference sheet of this brand new character she purchased.

And being the sucker I am, I agreed to draw it as long as it was the suit she was currently wearing. I took some pictures, and it about 2 hours I had this sketched, inked, and colored. I didn't have a laminator, and it was the end of con by the time we had talked, but it was nice to see how happy she was with the piece. I told her what to do to finish her new badge, and gave it to her in one of those protective mailing sheets.

This was the only picture I got of this particular badge, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

This year's con was a very nice experience, but I am glad that I have a break now to breathe a bit.
