Find myself lying down again, wasting the day away in my dreams. Seems like I do a lot of this of late. Oh well.

So anyway, novice to poetry as I am, imagine my surprise when several lines of poetry just flowed forth from my mouth unbidden. I'm ashamed to say I wasn't able to get them all down, but I got a good portion of them written somewhere. A little tweaking here and there, a bit of distillation, and I thought I might as well share. Yay for spontaneous first poem.
