Out of the frying pan, into the fire perhaps?
Full disclosure: This is a PG-13 rated story featuring regression, violence, and tragedy. I had somebody ask me how I would rate the level of graphicness to the story, and I think the closest analog would be the original Star Wars trilogy in terms of violence. Fundamentally, this is a war story, and things happen in war. You get the picture.

Heh. Yes, I named Bella after the badger at Redwall Abbey, but Brock isn't strictly named after anybody. "Brock" is simply a Scandinavian version of "Badger", and "O'Meles" is taken from the Latin taxonomy for European badgers (meles meles). So, Brock's name is "Badger of the Badger Clan"
I've got to say you two are really pulling through when it comes to fierce animal expressions. Hearing you read this story months back made it feel like a relaxing story time experience, but your visuals here are really giving it a comparative edgy characteristic. That's only gonna effectively contrast the more adorable stuff to come later. =w=
