First time since the original post that I've uploaded this game to begin with. I feel this is a major enough feature to warrant a bit of a news update on this project! Custom tiles can now be imported into the editor. Meaning custom levels of a huge scale can be made. No longer are users restricted to the built in tilesets present in the game, and can now basically build whatever kind of stage they wish to build.
The screenshot above is a custom set, and a clone of the wily war's boss HyperStormH. With a few added fancy glowing tiles to show off the animated tile capability of the editor. The stage itself can be found in the workshop discussion page. Along with an example tilesheet for how to setup your own level graphics to work with the editor. There are still some harder limits to crack, such as custom boss sprites, and maybe a campaign builder for people who wish to roll their own megaman "fangame in a fangame," but that will be a bit later. For now the freedom to create stages has become massive.
I know this isn't much for people that watch me exclusively for packedrat, but hey. I enjoy working on my other game projects too~

Ah, quite neat! I played the game for a number of streams like I said I would. I very much enjoyed it; I beat all the extra bosses and such too. You did quite a good job with it!
Heck, people that watch you for Packedrat should still play it. After all, there is the vore level...which I thought was really neat, btw!
...Does this editor work with the free version of Game Maker on Steam? I don't have the paid version, but I'm tempted to download GM and tinker about if so.

Editor works on all versions. It's not tied into gm at all, and even the standalone and zipped versions have it. Playing the game is also free, as the gamemaker player has all features even on the free version of gm. No need to pay 115 or whatever to toy with the megaman game.
