there's a little story to this drawing I did a while ago..
I was leaning over my balcony on the second floor, only in my shorts since it was really warm. i was looking down at my dad who was sitting at the lower balcony, reading a book.
I told him I was gonna go for a walk and so when he furrowed his brows and looked at my arm, mentioning my kinda fresh scars at the back of my arm.. he wasn't angry, but he wish I told him, he told me to find other ways to deal with my downs in life.. he even talked about what he does when he feels down like I do..
he always remind me that he, even a pretty positive, down to earth guy, can feel depressing times.. this made me look at him in another way, I feel like he told me more about himself.. I can relate to him more now and I'm not afraid to show my arms anymore... he knew I selfharmed but never mentioned it.. I love my dad so much and he's the biggest inspiration in my life ❤
