Insecure?? This is beautiful!

If I may add to my previous post: This really is beautiful. Most art I see is drawn well, of course, but misses something. Its like it doesn't portray reality, like the subject in the art isn't a person, a real being. That's the vibe I get from this; what I see is an actual, thinking individual. The clothing, the face, the ears, the slight little smile--I see a representation of, if such a reality existed, what an anthropomorphic intelligent (human intelligence) animal to be like. Nothing is overdone, and everything is tied together with a feeling of 'life doesn't need to be complicated', and just nails what everyday life is about.

It is relatable.

thank you very much! your comment shows that i did a good work, since it is a gift for a friend. i put a lot of effort on this one because i wanted the character look somehow like his owner. while i wanted something warm and personal i came up with the idea of weekend trip out of the city, somewhere where you feel relieved and calm.
if anything of it can be seen through the art, i succeed.

if I was not yet convinced with your gallery ( for a matter of taste not quality )...this pic deserves my watch... cause Im sure you will show up with good art in the days to come. You shurely have a good hand. ...I did not chatch but, you use mainly pencil? carbon? ...other? Anyway congrats !

Tanu's a sketch artist, constantly complaining she can't do colors :F which is bullshit obviously.

i use mostly pencil on smooth grainless paper. when it comes to color things i use mix of watercolors and crayons.
