Continuing my special "Throwback Thursday" presentation, I'm celebrating my brother Glenn's 59th birthday on June 10, 2016, by presenting a 'photo-op' of us from the past...
Back in June, 1988, the two of us took a trip (from Elmont, New York - where we were both living at the time) up to Boston, Massachusetts. We stayed at a motel located in nearby Lexington (one block away from the site of "the shot heard 'round the world"), and drove into town to enjoy a special weekend together. We took in the Boston Aquarium, ate dinner at the Union Oyster House, and took a walking tour of some of the other sites around 'Bean Town'...
One of those sites was the portion of Boston Harbor, where the legendary sailing ship known as 'Old Ironsides' is docked. We got someone to take a snapshot of the two of us (with my 35mm camera).
Later this month, I will post other activities we'd participated in twenty-eight years ago (including pix of some of the aquatic fauna at the aquarium, and other surprises) in Boston, MA.

Cool! The first time I went to the Boston/Cambridge area on my own, was back in '87 - when I'd brought my bicycle along, stayed at that same Lexington motel, and rode said bike into both towns (a one-hour trek) - all thanks to AAA! My only regret was that I didn't bring my camera along to take pictures back then...
