Knight class: Ranger



Like the name would suggest, this class fights entirely at range, using various firearms to deal damage and incapacitate monsters and criminals alike.

Ranger outfits consist of a black cloak, allowing them to mask their movements and keep themselves hidden from danger.
In lieu of boots, they wear sound dampening ‘socks’ that allow them to sneak from one point to the next.
They also lack the plated armor the fighters have, opting to wear a kevlar vest to keep themselves at maximum mobility.

As far as weapons go, the default loadout for a Ranger is:
1. A plasma caster that uses the same technology as the Knight stick, only in gun form.

2.A ballistic side arm

3. A light melee weapon.


However, a weapon a Ranger uses varies wildly upon the situation and most will change accordingly.
Very few specialize in explosives due to the risk of hurting other knights being so high.

Rangers also carry a smoke screen in their cloak, allowing them to vanish into black smoke if need be.
They’ve earned the nickname ‘Squids’ as a result.
