Sphynx kitty! ..I want one, but damned environment isn't conducive to one.

XD how so? im in canada sk, where we have 9999999999999999 years of winter and gets to -60C
its so funny to see her grow a winter coat.. aka peach fuzz XD

Midcentral US, the weather ranges from holy-crap-it's-cold to where's-my-sunblock in the span of one single day. They'd be tremendously uncomfortable on a day by day basis, unfortunately.

I'm not usually one for hairless cats, but holy fuck is this kitty adorable!

haha i thought that at first then i seen one and fell in LOVE oh my gosh. such odd little cats that are kind of like dogs? xD

How does one take care of a hairless friend?

Lotion? No seriously, is there like a special lotion for them?

it kind of depends, i dont think there is special lotion but when she gets a rash i use orange cream i got from sally's it works really well and doesnt irritate her skin, think babylotion would be ok since you have to bath a hairless at least once a week ( i do it twice cuz she gets dirty) they have different skin types, some get dry skin some get oily. she just gets dirty XD
you also have to clean their eyes and ears since they dont have fur to keep dirt getting in there its pretty nasty there XO her ears get SO bad. i use baby oil and coconut oil to clean out all teh gunk
since she has normal skin i dont use lotion on her though, sometimes she will scratch her skin and give herself some cuts i just put some ointment on those
also have to clean between their paws, and clean their claws cuz they get gunked up with junk as well

also make sure when bathing to get into all the wrinkles! sometimes i dont get her leg wrinkles that well which means for another bath soon, and even though she takes them all the time she hates them XD
they also wag their tails and she sleeps with me under the blankets EVERY night and walks on a leash XD

neatest little cat i ever had!
they also run 6 degrees warmer then a regular cat 8D

she just looks grumpy sometimes but she LOVES snuggles and talking
