So, me and  KDRaccoon have this running joke. What if Burst and Headlight did get together? And what if Headlight quit school at 16 like she's been planning and Burst's drinking actually did catch up with him?

These would be AU Burst and Headlight's pets, descended from the Friday Chu Army and Burst and Sammy's pet Pluse, Cherrypop. X3

Didactic, Circuit and Nullifier have remained mostly unchanged. Didactic is still an overprotective bastard, however his spere of protection has widened to include the whole family...even Burst, sometimes. However, messiong with his mate, Cherrypop, will result in the most severe punishment. Circuit is better at sitting still than he was as a Pichu...which is not to say that he actually does it. Zipping around is just too much fun! He's also developed a sheepdog-like herding tendancy. Nullifier is still her sweet, sweet self. Known among the kids to be a bit of a pushover, though she is definitely not to be messed with, having finally honed her faulty Protect and Surf. The Raichu Triplets serve as babysitters, plush toys, and are in charge of the house when Burst and Headlight aren't there.

Cherrypop is still a crybaby, to the point where she has absolutely no authourity in the house. Even more attention-hungry that Nullifier, she's either with Burst or Sammy, getting cuddled by one of the kids, or keening at the top of her lungs because one of those things isn't happening.

The little Chus are actually the original Raichu Triplet's younder siblings, as opposed to being their offspring. The two Plusles, however, are the sons of Didactic and Cherrypop.

Linear is Flashlight's Pichu. He is often rigid in his ideals and is immune to argument. Much like his partner, he is snooty and believes he is always right. He 's even better at stealing wallets than Flashlight.

Current is Nightlight's Pichu. She's very outgoing and playful, and likes getting into things. She has a habit of putting a charge in bits of metal and leaving them around to sap the charge later. More often then not, it ends in a nasty static shock for unsuspecting neighbors.

Radiating is Highlight's Pichu. Radiating is very emotional and starts sparking whenever he gets particularly excited. He gets along with Highlight, even when she's being nasty, because of his loving and gentle nature.

Firepop is Equilibrium's Plusle. He is almost as nutty as his partner. The house has a theory that Equilibrium fed him Prozac when he was tiny and it screwed up his brain chemistry. Firepop is most known for dashing headfirst into flame. He is actually an albino, and his 'markings' are singed into his fur. He constantly has a flame going on the tip of his tail, and the nerve damade in that area is so severe that he doesn't notice anymore.

Popcorn is Binary's Plusle. He is a perfect example of a pet who has taked after its owner to the degree that they even share habits. Popcorn is most often seen hanging around with Binary and Sammy and doesn't like being petted by anyone but them and Headlight.

And lastly...

Big Gay Bubba. Bubba isn't one of the offspring of Didactic, Circuit or Nullifier, nor is he related to any of the original Chu Army. When Burst and Headlight moved into the trailer, he'd already been living there for some time, terrorizing the neighbor's pets. Bubba was born in the deep South of Kanto, in a forgotten mountain town. During a food shortage, he made his way down to Viridian, where he made a pets of himself chewing wires. As a Pikachu, Bubba was caught by Feral Control, and spent some hard time in the back cells, where he evolved to Raichu. He apparently shared a cell with a Rattata and a Bidoof...who were extremely traumatized by the time he left. Bubba belongs to Crytal for the most part, but at one point the family was afraid of leaving him alone with her. Bubba is friendly, even-tempered, and generally well behaved for the most part. Unless, of course he takes a liking to you. He spends most of the time on the porch with Burst drinking malt liquor and playing his banjo, or searching for his next sweet purty thang.
