Very good broad range of expressions there. I particularly like how well animated the ears are - you use them quite effectively in assisting the mood.

I think you underestimate your own abilities, Nylak. I've really been very impressed with your work in the past, and I think you did a very good job showing what a wide variety of expressions you can do with this submission. I really sorry to hear you're going through trouble with your life I hope everything works out for you. But honestly, if you do ever get a web comic up I can tell you right now you have more expressions on this page than some years-long web comics have had in their entire run.

Like others have said, I do think the freckles are a very cute touch. I'm also very impressed at how widely you can vary the mouth and the eyes while still having the face come across as realistic. It's neat to see you do them from different perspectives too, I really think it shows a good grasp of the character on your behalf. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably say the bottom left, where Sid makes a cameo.

I hope you don't mind me saying so but the one thing that struck me as a little off-putting is that the shape of the head seems to change along with the eyebrows. I have no artistic experience whatsoever so I may just be interpreting things wrong, but it seems like the face stretches out in certain places to accommodate raised or moved eyebrows. Particularly in the last image in the first row and the third image in the third row, it looks like one side of the peaks higher to go along with the higher eyebrow.

In any case, I do still really enjoy your work, and I really hope everything starts going alright for you life-wise. Thank you very much for sharing your stuff on FA. It would be spectacular to get a chance to see a web comic from you if it does work out. Thanks again, and good luck with everything! ^^
