some day you'll be twice that and then some, well that is if there's still a world that supports sapient life by then.
i'm always curious what happens the next decade and the next after that.
when i was young there were assumptions people could make about what they expected life would be like as they got older,
but then all that started changing in the 80s.
(that's in the u.s., other places it may have been different years or all different entirely. i only know how it was where i was.)
well a year older is always an excuse to eat cake and blow out candles and make wishes.

A lot has changed! The immediate future looks like it's going to taste like strawberry frosting.
