The hockey world lost a great man and a legend of the game. Gordie Howe known by fans as Mr. Hockey passed away at the age of 88 today. He leaves behind three sons and an impact on the game that's still felt to this day.

He will be sorely missed by hockey fans all across the globe and by his family, but his legend will live on forever.
