Okay just commissioned this like 4 days ago, it still needs coloration BUT I wanted to upload the lineart because I find it so extremely well done X3
So recently I read a story of my friend  Skulblaka92 with Incendramon and Pikunamon in them and I got quite excited about it and how it was written. It inspired me to make my own side story with this slice of life'ish style and this was one of the first things I thought of since at the time I felt not very good and put that bad emotion into the thought and work.
So basically Incendramon, who is a digimon partner in a rather racism heavy world of Digimon and humans where they sure are partner and coexist most of the time but at the same time many humans and Digimon frown at the idea of Digimon and human intercourse, be it love or more then just that and not unoften those people get hunted.
He has no such direct problem but he is anxious and jealous on his competitor and after not beeing able to defend Pikunamon where his competitor steps in and deflects the attack he falls in a long exhaustion sleep since all his energy just vanished at that point.
As he awakes three days later at the evening he is back at the house and he remembered what happens. Feeling guilty of endangering Pikuna and the others and not beeing of any help in fights lately since they all got stronger but not him, he decides to take his leave and just vanishes as everybody is searching for him. Pikunamon will find him on a tower he showed her a couple of months prior because of the beautiful sunset and as she comes up the stairs and sees him standing on the railing he just turns his head at her, looking guilty and just saying "Farewell... he will protect you better..." and just hops off before Piku can even say anything and falls down the over 2 kilometer high tower on the plateau city.
At this point one won't hear a thing from incendramon for several chapters and information provided by Femacendramon, Aqueamon and Sacreamon (Celia) state that he sadly most likely vanished as his data became volatile from emotional unstability since they followed his barely visible trails to a point where they just stopped.
Six months later in the digital world the whole group will have a hard fight against some lower ranked agents of the main ruling digimon faction and they barely beat them at full power (they are like D class agents, and that would be followed by C, B, A, S and X maybe) so there would be an impossible challange ahead of them. As the C ranks approach to finish them all off Incendramon appears, fully covered in bandages, with a torn and worn robe, a rusty blade over his shoulder and intensive hair growth at his head, smiling and greeting them, excusing himself for the wait as he then casually just obliterates the C ranks with one hit after some sparring with them. For anybody uncertain, yes, he was training for like half a year to get to this stage.
And there is much more behind all this, I have so many ideas for the story and just HOPE I can bring it down to digital paper for everyone to read. I also think I will keep the design of a "unshaved" Incendramon for these training purposes as he isn't taking much care of his hair (he washs himself by swimming several rounds in the ocean) and just focuses on getting stronger, which here he certainly did.
Anyway stay tuned for more stuff, and maybe the story itself. It will feature characters from me (mainly my Cendras and some respective humans), Pikus characters of course, Skulblaka92s characters and some guest starrings and other characters from friends.
