These lanterns call the spirit of special foxes, known as a Spark Fox. To summon the fox, simply light the lantern, and the Spark Fox will find it's way to you, no matter how far away it is.

About Spark Foxes
:: Spark Foxes are gentle and loving creatures. They are born when first their lantern's are lit, and each fox is bound to the Lantern and Companion. They hold a very strong power inside them, and are especially fierce with the true-ness of their friendships with their Companions.

:: Each Spark Fox has special characteristics that go with the style of their lantern, and in total there are NINE variations and NINE Lanterns.

:: Spark Foxes carry with them their own Mini-Lantern, usually an orb or bauble, that lets them know when their Companion's Lantern has been lit. These Mini-Lanterns are often worn on a collar, though a truly wild Spark Fox's Mini-Lantern will just hover at it's neck.

:: Spark Foxes communicate via Telepathy. They have the ability to talk with anyone, though usually only speak with their Lantern Companion.

:: When a Spark Fox decides to have a child of it's own, it find's a Lantern and lights it with it's own Spark from it's Mini-Lantern, giving part of it's life force to the next generation. Spark Foxes do not need to mate to reproduce, however, two Spark Foxes can light a single lantern and share the giving of life force to create a child. Once the Lantern is lit it immediately finds the person who can light it with their touch, and the new Spark Fox becomes companions with them.

:: Although very rare, Lanterns sometimes spark more than one Spark Fox from a single Spark! Twins and Triplets are the only multiples that can be found, anything more than that is not possible. Twins and Triplets will always share the same Spark-Color, and will all Look To the same person, whoever lit their joint Lantern.

The Lanterns
Each Lantern summons it's own Special Spark Fox with a special variation.
:: 1. The Guide Lantern -Common- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox with larger ears and tufts.
:: 2. The Storm Lantern -Common- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox with a larger tail and flared fur.
:: 3. The Cage Lantern -Common- This Lantern summons the most fox-like Spark Fox.
:: 4. The Garden Lantern -Uncommon- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox that is sleek and has a slender tail.
:: 5. The Temple Lantern -Rare- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox that has wings.
:: 6. The Incense Lantern -Uncommon- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox that is fluffier.
:: 7. The Flutter Lantern -Rare- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox with Butterfly wings.
:: 8. The Shepherd Lantern -Uncommon- This Lantern summons a Spark Fox with a short tail and antlers.
:: 9. The Lotus Lantern -Rare- This Lantern summons a nine-tailed Spark Fox!

:: Customs are $3 for Common Lanterns, $4 for Uncommon, and $5 for Rare Lanterns.
:: Pre-made Lanterns are always $2-3.

Terminology
Because I want to provide simple terminology that will be universal for Spark Foxes I have included some definitions for your use. :)
Spark Foxes :: Small, magical, Fox-like creatures. They come in many shapes and colors, which can include wings, antlers, multiple tails etc. They are bound to the Lanterns from which they are born.
Companions :: Refers to the person/being who owns the Lantern which a Spark Fox is bound to.
Looks To :: Refers to the bond between a Spark Fox and their Companion. IE. Umbriel looks to :devimandarr:.
Spark :: Refers to the Life Force that creates all Spark Foxes. Each Spark color is unique to the Spark Fox, and is usually only one color. There is a 10% chance that a Spark Fox's Spark is more than one color.
Wild :: A Spark Fox without a collar, only their Mini-Lantern. In general, these Spark Foxes are more likely to enjoy being outside and in the wild, are more confident and tend to wander, but of course, always come back when called.
Collared :: A Spark Fox that has a collar to hold their mini-Lantern. In general, these Spark Foxes enjoy the close company of their Companions, and although they do enjoy being outside and in the wild, are more comfortable the closer they are to their Companion.
Summon :: Refers to when a Companion lights a Spark Foxes' Lantern, as a Spark Fox always responds to the summons of their Lantern.
