Like his 'father,' GunGun was into computers too.
He was 2 years old when this photo was taken.
It takes a long time to type anything when you have to run from one end of the keyboard to the other!

Hehe, he was a brat, yes.
He's actually an (Australian) Eastern Water Dragon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austra.....n_water_dragon
They'd possibly find there way to your neck of the woods, since they're found natively from Melbourne up to Sydney and everywhere in between. (Though there is a unique subspecies native to Gippsland too)
Nyte and I have a Beardie now, actually. Again, a cheeky sod - but no tailwhips to the face from this one like GunGun was an expert with

I don't mind catching and releasing them. If they're wild, I'd rather leave them there.
Though some of them (particular female lizards) seem to be happy to stick around 'wild,' if you're nice to them. I have a Sleepy Lizard in the back yard that I fed some honey to while Nyte was here. She decided to make a home in the shed (comes in and out through the gap under the door).
Hadn't seen her for a few weeks, but she was out sunning herself last week and let me pick her up without any fuss, hiss or threats - in fact, she immediately started licking my fingers. Got her some more honey and she went nutso for it!
(Normally you'd worry when they start making any sort of mouth movements towards your fingers... Those fuckers bite and hang on! Owies!)

actually the wiki suggested spiders and other little crawling bugs :'3
Turm regularly buys pet-store crickets for her, and the just LOOOOVES the mango baby-food stuff ^____^; she is extraordinarily well fed, lol, sometimes too well and I tell Turm not to make her fat! X'S
she sheds her skin roughly once a month, month n a half or so........ and eats that too~ \|'S omg blehgh! but it's SOO cute watching her when she's nearly out of it, nomping onto the end peeling off her tail! X'S like some sort of 'Ouroboros EVER-Gecko'! X'D
She does this rad 'sleepy colour change' things where she is a dark chokkit-brown when she is asleep under the rocks in her tank, normally her patterns are quite pronounced, and sometimes REAL lat e@ night, when she is all active in the dark she gets SUPERRR paley-pink ^^-;
here's some photos of the three stages: http://www.skifi.net/gallery/album9.....9_dark_Velcro2

and she super loves my pencil-case for some reason too :'> if she is even held remotely near it, she lick-smells for it and tucks herself into it and peeps out~ ^_____^ omg adorablez~ http://www.skifi.net/gallery/album9.....ah_pencil_case

Awww, that's adorable! She wants to be an artist too!
And I'll bet she loves the mango! It's so much yummier than bug guts! Eww!
Didn't know about the spider and crawlies thing; I've only looked after bigger lizards. I only assumed moths because that's what I see them hunt when they're on my kitchen windows.
(That's when I see them all pale, like you pictured. With the light behind them, they're very translucent and you can see the eggs right through their body!)
Don't worry about overfeeding though! Reptiles will only eat when they're hungry. They will build up a small fat store in their tails, but don't actually get 'fat' like a mammal will. (I wish this was a trait that I shared!) So no fear there.
As to skin eating, yech! =p None of my lizards ever did that - though dragon lizards rarely do a full-body shed; they tend to do different parts in stages. And get all stressed out and bitchy. They hate the shedding stage.
But yeah, Velcro is positively cute and adorable!
