How do you capture that luminescent halo that's always about her? It's so wonderful. It brings the focal point straight to her face so people know what she's feelin'.

I can actually tell you how I do it. XD

All the differently colored pieces of this art were on their own layers. I made a copy of her skin and hair layers, Gaussian blurred it, changed the layer style to hard light (or maybe color dodge, I'm forgetting the exact style, but it's one of the ones that involves light) and set that above the original skin layer. I selected the original skin and hair layers and cut that part out of the 'glow' layer so that the glow is around her but not on top. Then I lowered the opacity almost all the way. :)

O~O Oh wow, that just got me so confused, but yet I understood it. Was it done in Photoshop, Open Canvas or another art program?
