When you think about it: foxes ARE canines, but they also look a little feline. Hell I used to think they WERE felines when I was younger in my single digits. They like cats and dogs fused together. So foxes are practically the 2 best species for anthro characters at the same time. Which, when you about that too, could explain why they're the most favored for artists when making anthro characters.
