Cigar review of the Week: Diesel Sideshow Bohemian Twins 1
Back again and and for a bit of a twist....literally!
Time for the second sideshow stick or part of one to do smoked.
Diesel Sideshow Bohemian Twins Part 1:
Wrapper: N/A
Binder: N/A
Filler: N/A
Pre-Light/Construction:
Mangled, Tangled, Wrangled, and completely Twisted. That's the usual you would get from a threaded stick between one and the other. The wrapper was smooth and prestine, but a little nick in the middle. Wasn't bad. Visible seems and veins but on the lighter side. The pre-draw was decent and not too snug.
The Burn Part 1:
Nice and smooth from the beginning with a bit of Oaky notes. Cedar and nutmeg notes began to envelope. Not a bad beginning with this combo. Once the first pat came into the turn around, there seemed to be a bit of a build up with body itself. It's like a sweet deception from one sister giving a nice greeting until you realize there's something up her sleeve.
The Burn Part 2:
The body, still building up, began to emerge in the notes a little more. The oaky notes started to dwindle down a little while the nutmeg and cedar started to change. The Cedar became a little more floral in a natural earthy kind of sense. The nutmeg note stayed the same for the most part. Regardless of the changes, the bod still kept building up.
The Burn Final:
As we get into the last twirl, the body has reached it's peak in the body build up. The flavor notes have remained the same. With the burn to it's peak and the draw became hotter, I put it in the ashtray. My head was pretty spinning at this point.
Verdict:
Twisted Sister is the first thing that came to mind. When you think of a pleasant greeting you soon are snared into a harsh reality. The stick itself is not as harsh as the Frog Boy, but regardless it still hits hard. My recommendation, make sure you are prepared for this sister. I wonder what the other sister is like next week. :D
