This place was state of the art and awesome. In America it seems like arcades are dying out. In Japan they seem to be flourishing. Those two machines on the very end of this row? They were for Street Fighter II. The Japanese can kick it old school X3

As someone who used to work in the industry; the U.S. arcade manufacturers latterly slit their own throats by pricing themselves into oblivion.

That is so awesome. The video game nerd inside of me is acting up again. The last this happen was when I played the demo to Resident Evil 5. ^_^
But overall, was the arcade crowded with a lot of people?

Not really. There were a fair amount of people in it, but not an insane amount.

Also, I've since explored the whole place. There's no DDR, but there is digital horse racing. Which people actually gamble on.

Well that's unfortunate, no DDR machine. They might have them at more popular arcades or they just might not have them at all. That would be an interest fact to find out. ^_^
