-Lieutenant Bloodhawk leads Crimson Rapier Squadron, an elite ARC-170 unit attached to the 798th Fighter Group. His face is adorned with red tattoos while his armor has been painted with red markings as well.

-Sergeant Lock is the co-pilot/forward gunner for Rapier 1. His face has red markings to show loyalty to the squad.

-Mangler is the tail gunner for Rapier 1 and has scored a number of kills against droid Starfighters and even a command shuttle.

-R2-XR (aka X-Ray) is the in-flight astromech for Rapier 1, the lead ARC-170 of Crimson Rapier Squadron, which is flown by Lieutenant Bloodhawk.
