Not long after a huge crime wave broke out in the city, Warp Fire was patrolling a particularly dangerous part of down town, when something caught her eye. A huge 8 foot tall, armor clad person wearing a ram skull and carrying a giant sword! All the traffic stopped and cars were honking as this giant walked out into the middle of an intersection.

Warp Fire flies down to investigate. Landing a few feet away out of sword reach. "You there! I'm going to have to ask you to drop your weapon and come with me. I just want to ask you a few questions alright?"

The giant didn't reply and only stared at Warp Fire. Tightening its grip on the sword instead of dropping it. Warp Fire could start to hear whispers of what sounded like hundreds of voices coming from the giant's direction when suddenly two glowing blue lights appeared inside the skull like eyes looking right at her!

"OK I'm no longer asking, I'm ordering you to drop the weapon NOW!" Warp Fire shouted, levitating off the ground and summoning fire balls in each hand. "Whoever... Whatever you are, this is not a game!"

Again no reply. The giant started moving towards Warp Fire unphased by the fire. "Stop where you are! Last warning!" Warp Fire yelled but the giant didn't stop! Forcing Warp Fire to fly backwards as she slammed her wrists together and shot three large blasts of fire!

The giant raised it's sword in front of it's body like a shield and bounced the fireballs off in different directions, causing fires all around them! Warp Fire flew around to the giant's back and unleashed a large spray of fire like a flamethrower when suddenly the giant separated into four copies of itself! People started to panic and abandon their cars as the fight raged on.

Warp fire continued her flamethrower, tacking out two clones which just vanished like smoke! When all of a sudden a traffic light post that was damaged by the flames started to fall! Several fleeing people were right in it's path! Warp Fire stopped shooting and flew as fast as she could over to the falling light but to her surprise one of the giant clones made it there first! Raising it's arms high above it's head and catching the falling light post just before it landed on a small child!

Warp Fire gasped, and stopped flying. She quickly absorbed any still burning fires and ran over to help the giant. "I-I don't know if you can understand me but thank you! Thank you for saving those people and I'm so so sorry for attacking you." She hung her head and said "Can you ever forgive me?"

The giant said nothing and waited for it to be clear before dropping the light post. The remaining clone which lost most of its colors and looked more like a ghost now came walking over to Warp Fire. Still a bit nervous Warp Fire let it come close. When it reached her it kept walking and passed right through her! A cold chill went down her spine and she shivered but then she began to understand! A vision was shown to her. In her mind she saw what seemed to be a flashback. The giant which she learned was called Oathkeeper, showed her images of a person using dark matter superpowers to destroy a wall to a bank and rob it blind!

Warp Fire understood that this must be how Oathkeeper communicates and was asking for her help! "Yes! Yes of course! I will help you. Please lead the way."
