Just a Yinglet mage character I have been toying with for a bit for pathfinder, the idea behind the character is he was once a wizard who enjoyed traveling to other planes of existence and cataloging the life there. Happening upon the Yinglets during his travels he became attached to a small enclave. This enclave had seen better days so he took pity on them and offered them a place better suited to their needs to live. He set up a small area near his tower for them and brought them through. One of the little Yinglets wanted to thank him for giving them a nice new home and brought him a shiny object as a gift. She has now been sending the last while learning to deal with her new body and has spent hours pouring over her books to try and rewrite her spells to work with Yinglet's unique pronunciation issues; her tower was taken away after the wizard's council learned of the "unauthorized relocation of an extra-planer species" ("Its not like ze ozher wizards have never done somezhing like zhis before") and she had to spend her fortune trying to keep from being jailed (or simply killed) by the local nobles whom she had once worked for, effectively starting at square (level) one again.
"On ze bright side, ze ozher Yinglets treat me like a goddess, ze Patriarch of woodworking even crafted me a new stave."
