Amazing how much difference you can make just adding some variation to the line weight, isn't it? That's all I did. The old version of this was all inked, so I couldn't erase or change anything, I could only add. So I thickened up the borders and added some tapering lines and so on, and it looks much, much better.

This is me, giving me a hug. XD I have multiple personas, Aidan the wingy vampire there is one of them who I draw and write about a lot. He expresses my male side, to give the simplified version. (The not simplified version is reeeeeeeeeeally long.) The girl is my real life self. So now you know what I look like, ZOMG! Well, sorta. I didn't photo-references this, and I don't see my own profile much, for some reason it's hard to see in the mirror. I think my nose is too big, for one thing. But anyhow, that's me giving Aidan a hug on a really bad day. And yes, he's supposed to be that short. He's a little guy. Not a kid, he's an adult, just... really short and kind of bishy.
