What an awesome character, oh man. I love that tongue, and the windows.. for some reason, it reminds me of Myst/Riven games, and I have no idea why. It strikes up that same sort of vaguely alien, curious, intriguing feeling.

thanks, since Goldie's outside is all woodsy and cottage-like, I thought is would be neat if inside everything was all upholstered and such.

I imagine his/her insides look like an anatomical poster and a livingroom had a baby.

Truth to tell, Whenever I'm indecisive over character design I usually just say "fukk it" and give said character mighty morphin' abilities so they can be male, female, asexual, etc. at any point they fancy (or don't. It can be, like, a lunar thing). I don't feel too bad about it, though. There are a number of interesting undersea creatures that switch sex and such at different ages or due to different temperatures, for breeding purposes, so I know mother nature loves a cop-out as much as I do.

That tongue is the greatest thing ever.

I pulled my inspiration from the sparkle-dog tongues. But instead of stars and piercings, I just went with couch fabric.

It's so complicated with characters who aren't born with a gender... I bet Goldie will switch back and forth depending on mood or some such... Shugah will be endlessly confused.
