It's been almost a year since I've drawn for myself. It wasn't so much as an art block as a total art crisis. That's why it makes me so happy that I was finally able to do something, even though I regret the time wasted that I wont get back.
This guy is an oc of mine that has been sitting in my head for months. I've already changed the design a bit since his hair is too similar to another oc of mine. I have no name for him though, any thoughts?
By the way, I usually don't do commissions of this caliber because they take so much time and I don't have the patience. But if you want one like this you can note me and maybe we can negotiate a price. It wont be cheap like usual though.

Well, there's a few ways you could go for names! For my kitsunes(and I have a ton) I like looking up traits or words that pertain to them and then morphing them into names, if they don't already fit.
Obvious routes are color(Aka for red, for example), traits pertaining to his hair(Shiruku or Kino, since he's got quite the silky-looking hair, there!) and eyes(Kin is probably the most recognizable word for gold)... you can also consider that -ko(child), -ne and -o are frequently appended to words for names. So that gives you things like Akane/o, Kino, Shirukune(or Shirune, if you prefer). I just play with em until they sound right. Rarely, I have names or words that suit the character and sound like names. Natsu is 'summer', and so on.
