The 2nd in June's "1920s" theme, sort of a "test commission" for

This will probably also be turned into a badge, with neon letters adorning the awning above.

so it's a real thing? there I thought, "So this is how motorbikes would have looked like during Chryslers' "Airflow" era...." because the art deco drips off every surface. :)
*googles the thing* ogawd. so cute! :D

now what we need is an American Bantam with a motorbike trailer. people would die from the cuteness...
aside that, love the colours, the art deco, the reflections and how smug the kitty looks.

Thank you! I ended up seriously underestimating the amount of time it would take to nail down the reflections. I was envisioning someone holding a flashbulb-type camera from the left foreground, brightening the foreground in the presence of the already-flashy background. The walls have eyes, and every single new element means every reflective surface must address it in some way (or something, I might be rambling)
Omg that car is so cute. I wonder if I can incorporate that into something in the future :D

getting reflections right takes the most time, no matter the sublect: technical surfaces, or shiny latex. XD
maybe size play, like with zootopia. :)
one of the interesting facts about 'murrican Bantam cars is that they couldn't afford to build a facility to cast engine blocks. so they instead used pressed steel elements and cylinder tubes, and hard-soldered the pieces together.
I kind of want one of those cars. I might be a Fordoholic, but still.

This is absolutely amazing, man! You rocked out those reflections and I love everything in this piece - the bike (and headlamp - holy crap!), the metal awning, the character (absolutely nailed that leather jacket), etc.! I know you've been working your tail off - it's extremely evident in this piece and in your progress thus far. I'm excited to see where you go from here! Keep it up!! :D
