I love this I mean love LOVE this! I love the feel of the heat from that breath that is washing over the rider in the foreground be it a knight or a very brave adventurer. The posing of the rider and horse is wonderfully done. As is the reflective lighting from the flame. The large head plates that are almost bone like are a striking contrast to the rest of the bright crimson red of the dragon. I love how you captured the textural differences between the head plating and the main body scales. The composition is well laid out and what almost looks like unstable ground/sand under the dragon's left foot is a nice feeling, it shows a lot of weight. Great use of focus for this beast's head it really shows the power, the danger and the atmosphere fabulously. Great job!
