The pants are from a company called Tripp NYC- I got them at the one place in Winnipeg that sells them: the Crypt. My town is so lame...

Yeah, I love my tripp pants, but finding them is a pain. XD No problem! The shot is really sweet because it looks like you're all "haha, he's mine. XD" and he's all "::nuzzlenuzzle::" X3

I actually had to clutch my chest in pain to how agonizingly adorable this is. I also find it increasingly painful to see a man in slacks hugging a woman in chain-goth.

You both look very beautiful, and it's amazing to see the fruit of your labor after watching you submit the pieces in-the-making up until now in actual use. =)

*grins* Yeah, me and KaniS are about as opposite as two Mates can be in our dress tastes! I should post the pics I have of him dressed up for a Goth night at the Bar Sinister. He'd probably eat me for that, though!

It's virtually all he owns, too- buying new clothes is anathema to him, it seems. I've gotten him some nice stuff- I'm working on his wardrobe. No-one in their early thirties should be dressing like their sixty year old dad... O___O He's too cute to dress like that.

Well I was certainly misinformed. o_O I thought KaniS was 50 something. Well, see to it he does! It's not an attachment to mainstream fashion that I say this, but personal taste; those clothing would kill me, to have to see at home, at work, or anywhere, day to day!

Yike! Who ever told you KaniS was in his fifties!? O___O I'm older than my love by eight years. I may well be dressing too young, actually. Though, if I were to dress like the forty-something I am, my wardrobe would get boring fast.

And we all know that can't happen! The world depends on you Murra, to be zesty flambouyant and the lovable bumpkin you've been for the rest of your years! :)

Aww, thank you! Wait till I make the next set! Going to make similar heads to these, but better and more comfortable. These got a lot of compliments, enough to keep me doing this sort of thing, but the comfort level wasn't very high.

Thank you, sweetness! *huggles* What was awesome to me was all the compliments I kept getting for something I felt was flawed and not quite finished. I do think they masks were pretty, though, but some kinks need to be worked out of their construction. My busy little brain is working on the problem.

Great picture and two great costumes. Are you thinking of adding wings?

Yup! The plan is to have a full suit, with wings, better tails (those are two of my first and I've since re-designed them to curve more), digitgrade legs and paws. I hear many folks say that I shouldn't make my first heads be my own character, as any mistakes would bite me in the ass (not wanting to wear the head, for example), but I also don't want to possibly waste my scarce resources in making another character. I'd rather make passable heads, mistakes and all, and learn as I go.

So, yes, the heads are getting re-built when I have the time and materials. *grins* I'm hitting the learning-curve pretty hard because I want to do this kind of thing for a living- designing and making costumes, fursuits in particular. Well, I know that will be hard to do, so I have all kinds of other projects I also do for coin: various kinds of art, jewelry, props for LARP characters, prosthetic make-up, etc.

Learning as you go on costuming, sounds familiar. That's what I did. If you need any help with wings, that's the one thing I seem to have worked out.

Can't wait to see how the project progresses.
