Hey, as you all know by now, I can't help but write up a story for ever artwork piece I get! So I hope you enjoy it!
Side note: Been working on this story a lot lately alongside another project, alternating between the two. I'm kinda surprised this one got finished first so here it is. The other should be done soon too hopefully.

And the plot thickens! Very interesting. It was a little confusing when you kept going back and forth between calling our favorite wolfess either Narysa or Maxime. I think I get it though. When you refer to her as Maxime, you refer to the old personality traits that he had that still show through now that she's Narysa. Is that about right?
Anyway, this Nathan guy is cool, and I like the explanation to the magic. So, did Maxime always have that necklace and Polly turned it into her totem? Did I understand that right? That's kind of cool. The magic has always been calling for you. Out of curiosity, do you have a necklace like that in real life?

I tried a new kinda style with that Maxime/Narysa names thing. I read it back and it does sound a bit confusing, even as I wrote it. You totally understood! A+
Yeah, I like trying to explain magic. It's really fun to write and kinda 'wing it'.
The totem had to be an important item in the person's life to work properly. As Maxime had it for years before and almost always wore it, the necklace was an instant choice.
And yeah, I've got the necklace irl, have had it for only a few months/a year however. Wear it everyday too. It's kindof my totem irl too in fact. Except it's not magic sadly. I mean, how awesome would that be?

That would be totally awesome, but even without the magic it still is. I used to have a small river stone with a howling wolf etched into it. I would wear it in a small velvet bag around my neck. Unfortunately, I had to give it up for... reasons. It was really hard to let it go. It felt like a part of my heart went with it.
That does seem like an important token by the way you're talking about it. I'm sorry you had to give it up and I hope you'll either find it again or get something that would make you feel the same way!
I know how memories can attach to objects like that. I'd feel the same way if I lost mine for some reason.

It's kind of complicated and really hard to explain why I had to give it up. Even if you could understand it's not something I'm entirely comfortable discussing. Suffice to say that I'll never find it again and even if I did find something similar, nothing could replace it. Nor should anything replace it. But let's not dwell on that. This was a good story and I like where it's going. It promises to get better.
I totally understand if you don't want to talk about it.
I didn't mean replace in fact. (I don't like this word a lot tbh) It was more of a hope you'll feel the same way about something. Nothing can take a memento's place, this I know from experience.
Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like!
