In the cartoons, the roadrunner never spoke. He just went "beep beep" and made bottle-noises when he stuck his tongue out. In the comics, he spoke in rhyme.









He was really annoying...

The voice actress came on the Simpson's and said .."They only paid me for one Beep!!"

Nope. the road runners "Meep Meep" was taken from the guy who did the internal mail service at warner brothers. He would be pushing his cart full of mail down the hall and go "Meep Meep" to let folks know that he was coming by and they should bring out any mail or packages for him.

When the coyote and roadrunner cartoons were being developed, they were having a heck of a time coming up with good dialogue for the pair. Then the guy came down the hallway and they had a eureka moment. Do it with no voices, just sound effects and the music. and a legend was born.

Seth McFarlane showed what happened after he got the roadrunner. Things got dark after he accomplished the ONE thing he had to live for...

After all the crap the roadrunner put him through, I think he rightfully earned a happy ending.
