Imperial Grenadeers of the 16th armored division advancing towards the center of Zaianas largest urban agglomeration, colloquially known as "The Maw".
This one took way too long but I eventually finished it. Had this in mind as a cover art of some sort as it is obviously inspired by a popular video game. Don't know if this could be anything canon but I just wanted to try out some things I saw in a tutorial for anime art and yes, I think it worked out.

this scene is just GORGIOUS, I can just sit and star at it and keep noticing new aspects of the scene. the shading and atmosphere is just simply stunning, I love how you use such sharp shadows and light effects to really make the scene pop out at the viewer.
