So for those of you who don't know, I got accepted into a scholarship program for a hiking expedition at Shenandoah National Park in D.C.
I leave July 10th!
Originally I was told they were going to provide everything (food, proper equipment, place to stay, etc) but today they sent an update email listing the items that we needed to get ourselves most of which I already had bought and prepared for.
Except for my shoes :))))) I have to get a pair of hiking boots before July 10th and be able to break them in.
Normally my mom would be able to get these for me but she doesn't get paid until like three days before I leave.
I have like 24 days until I have to have these shoes (technically before then so I can break them in) and to get a good pair that won't murder my feet costs at least $140.
I doubt that I can earn that much in 24 days but I will try and earn as much as I can.
