This is a mashup between an AT-6 and a BT-13 that's supposed to represent a Kate torpedo bomber. We have a Val airframe in West Texas (Admiral Nimitz Museum), but I don't think it will ever fly. It's a must-see museum if you are in Texas. Anyhoo, I liked this shot with the cockpit gauges and cool camo scheme and I hope you will too. I imagine the lengthened fuselage allows the reenactor's replica Kate to glide straight like an arrow. :)

x) I agree, lol. It will take until October to meet them unless I just email them or something. The last time I tried talking to one of the guys, they were quite busy preparing for the show.
I've met a lot of people in the av community by talking aircraft both at airshows and at random. Truly, you never know who you'll meet! :D
