Commission for
Alyxhusky
This commission shows an interesting thing about traditional art. Even mistakes that seem "permanant" can be fixed at any stage with a little fancy footwork if you know what you're doing. Now, if I don't point it out, you probably won't notice, but to illistrate my point, I will!
That little hangy bit on his belt, I actually completely forgot about it. It was in the text-ref, and even in the picture ref I got, but I just forgot. I inked the picture completely without it. I even had most of the colouring done before I even thought about it. I was just going to leave it out- the commissioner didn't seem to mind- but I decided what they hey, I'd add it at the last second. There were several lines inked over it and various other issues, and if you look real hard it does look slightly out of place, but I'd still be willing to bet if I hadn't told you, you wouldn't have noticed. ;3
I don't know why I'm saying this, I guess I'm just trying to point out that you don't have to draw digitally to fix mistakes propery, I guess. I have no idea xD
ANYWAY. I hope the commission is what you were after, and that it looks okay, and that you like it! And let me know if the guy you got it for likes it also x3

You know...This is kinda funny to me, because I want to rip on you about all the things wrong with this in terms of Tai Chi form. Instead, I'll just say that you did an EXCELLENT job with this pose, and a person who doesn't know any better would probably think his form looked great, too.
You're like the John Woo of still shots. XD Your pose is convincing enough that most people would never think to question the realism.

I guess I'm an expert at faking it. xD Don't get me wrong though. I'm always well aware when I have no idea what I'm doing. This is a great example of that, as well. The way I see it, I'm an artist, not an expert at everything. I just have to make things -look- like things, they don't have to actually be them. So, if you're saying I did a good job faking it, well, then, mission accomplished. xD
I have no idea who John Woo is, however. :P
